Infographic Design
About the project
About the project
Designed a large-scale infographic and visual storytelling concept for a university to illustrate the complete journey of an employee—from their first interaction with the institution through their long-term professional development and eventual retirement.
The goal of the project was to translate a complex 11-step employee lifecycle into a clear, engaging, and visually appealing narrative that could be easily understood by staff, applicants, and stakeholders. The design used a flow-based infographic structure, combining illustrated characters, directional pathways, and symbolic elements to represent each stage of the employee experience.
The visual concept focused on guiding viewers through the process in a natural progression, highlighting milestones such as onboarding, career growth, achievements, and long-term engagement within the university community.
Scope of work:
Concept design for an employee lifecycle infographic
Visual storytelling and information architecture
Illustration-based infographic layout design
Design of a step-by-step employee journey experience
Creation of engaging visuals to simplify complex organizational processes
The final design delivers a clear and engaging visual narrative that communicates the full employee experience while strengthening internal communication and institutional storytelling.
The Progressive
It’s funny. I was having a conversation with one of my best friends not too long ago—a friend who was definitely around me all the time when I was launching this first product—and they had absolutely, 100%, no idea that my email list had only 71 people on it when I first released this course. And then, they told me it actually inspired them a ton.
That meant so much to me. And also made me realize that the few Periscope broadcasts I’ve shared this in before are not enough to really help and (hopefully) inspire others. I knew I had to make a case study out of it.
